SAP Composite Role Creation

Composite role is collection of single roles in simple words its like a container which is having collection of single roles
You will allowed to add a composite role within a composite role, so you can able to add single roles into composite roles only, it doesn’t have authorizations tab in the role menu in PFCG like other single roles but you will have Role tab instead.
Composite role gives you greater flexibility to hold number of roles can be added to one role and assigned to N number of users instead adding them individual.
Example there is a team which performing PO create/approve activities in that case as a basis security administrator need to design a role which will enable them to fulfill their daily jobs and all the roles created for particular responsibility can be combined into a single composite role.
Composite enable the users to have advantages of all single roles authorizations in their user master record.

Here we will see how to create a composite role
  1. Goto tcode PFCG and enter a role name for composite role and we have following 2 single role which we used it for creating composite role.

ZTEST_ROLE
ZTEST_ROLE2

3. Save the role and goto “Roles” tab to add single roles like shown in the below screen

LSMW projects differ from traditional transport request creation while transferring/moving across your landscape.
You will not able to create a transport request for your LSMW project like any other customization/workbench request creation.
You need to do some tricky and use export and import option available to do so.
Please follow below steps to do it.

1. Go to LSMW tcode and enter your project name, Subproject and Object name

2. Now click “Extras” and select Export Project option

3. You will get a popup screen like below and enter the project name which you wish to export and select a location on your PC where you can save the export file

4. Select “Export” option from Export Rules menu

5. Next screen you will be asked for location to store export file and we are done with export

6. Once exported we need to import the export file to target system in your landscape and activate it
7. Now login to target system and select “Extras” option from menu and select import project option

8. Now you will need to select location where your export project file is located in your pc and you can change the project name to new one if you required in your target system

9. You need to get all rows should be in ok tick mark as highlighted in the above screen
10. Now select “import” or “import and rename” or any other option if you need

11. That’s it you have done transporting a LSMW project from one system to another system in you landscape , now execute the project in your target system to check whether its working as expected
There is no transport request creation option available to LSMW projects and that’s why SAP has  given export and import option to do it.
